The Winter Blazer

By Zulfiqar Mannan

Choosing a winter blazer can be a complicated, mishmash decision which includes a level of formality and a dash of  fashion in the mix. Pastel colors are always wonderful, while retro works with a variety of simple color combinations. Bedazzle your dinner parties with this daring mix of of regal, kitsch and professional blazers. But remember to go to the right parties; you don’t want to be that person. Regal works for formal or special dinner affairs, while kitsch works for fancy parties or dances. Professional blazers, from suedes and corduroys to thicker cotton ones, can work wonders for meetings, the theatre or the opera. 2016 has provided us a plethora of blazers for men and women for casual settings, especially with the recent rise in popularity of the linen blazer for the summer months. Check out some of these standouts on the shelves today:

J CREW: Match it with the gentlest outfit and you’ll be unstoppable for the day. Velvet Blazers, however, are still a no-no.
